They capture and fascinate, take us to a different time and place and can show our world through new eyes.

Good storytelling entertains, teaches and unites. It brings people together to imagine and explore.

Storytold is a new venture that needs your stories. Our team are curating exciting events in the coming months where we will share some of the submissions we receive.

What’s the theme?
Do you remember the first time? Do you remember the last?

For the first Storytold event, we’d love to hear your story, imaginary or real life, about the first or the last, beginnings or endings. The last talking forest, a break-up or your granny’s first parachute jump, any first or last can be the inspiration for your tale.

Words. Pictures. Sounds
There are no limits to the form these can take. Let your imagination lead you, whether that means an essay via email, a text message conversation, or even a recording of a poem.

Storytold events
The events will be inspired by the submissions we receive. Anyone with a story, a passion for telling them or simply a love for listening is invited to join us at these events. You don’t even have to present them yourself, just send them to us and one of our storytellers can do it for you.
